It's the most wonderful time of the year! Enjoy these holiday events from shopping events, to town lights, there is plenty of festivity to go around!

Annual Greenwich Town Tree Lighting

December 1st, 2023 | @ 4:00pm | Town Hall

Friday, December 1 is the Annual Tree Lighting at Town Hall, beginning at 4 p.m. Santa Claus and friends will be visiting; entertainment will be provided by Allegra Dance and Greenwich A cappella.

YMCA of Greenwich Holiday Fun Run

December 3rd, 2023 | @ 11 Tod's Driftway

Join us in celebrating the holidays with a holiday themed 5k and/or 1 Mile Fun Run around Greenwich Point Park in support of the Greenwich YMCA. It may be chilly so layer up with an old Santa outfit, ugly sweater or any other themed gear as we will be giving out "holiday spirit" awards/prizes.

Also don't miss your chance to win a pair of Greenwich Town Party Tickets via the Race Day raffle.

Greenwich Reindeer Festival

December 4th, 2023 | @ Sam Bridge Nursery

Santa and his three LIVE reindeer are returning to Greenwich for the 15th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa's Workshop, "The North Pole on North Street", Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses. The cherished town tradition continues for the fifteenth consecutive year at this expansive nursery where visitors can have their photo taken with Santa, meet the reindeer and also enjoy the beautiful Santa's Workshop, which provides more space for families while they wait in line for their photo with Santa. This all takes place just minutes from downtown Greenwich. Parking is free.

Festival of Tabletop Trees

Place a bid in our fifth annual Festival of Tabletop Trees. Local retailers, organizations, and designers will hand craft and decorate a tree which can be bid on and won at the end of our festival. Celebrate the talents of those who help us make our homes festive sanctuaries during the holiday season.

The Nutcracker

Central Park Dance will return to The Capitol Theatre this holiday season with its 8th annual production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. Join Clara on her wild journey through a blizzard of ballerinas into a Land of Sweets filled with colorful characters and pure holiday magic. This beloved classic features over 100 dancers from Central Park Dance and surrounding Westchester communities featuring Tanner Schwartz formerly with Boston Ballet & Lucy Nevin formerly with Washington Ballet.
