Silver Horse Ball

November 16th | 6:00pm | Greenwich Country Club

Hosted by the Greenwich Riding and Trails Association (GRTA), the Silver Horse Ball 2024 is a black-tie gala that will take place on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Greenwich Country Club. This bi-annual celebration is a chance for the community to come together in support of the GRTA’s mission to preserve, protect, and promote the open spaces, historical trails, and rich tradition of horseback riding that define Greenwich.

For more than 100 years, the GRTA has been committed to conserving the beauty and integrity of Greenwich’s natural landscapes. Funds raised at the Silver Horse Ball will directly support the organization’s ongoing efforts to maintain trails, protect local wildlife habitats, and ensure that future generations can enjoy the same cherished traditions of horseback riding and outdoor exploration. The GRTA operates and maintains the Nichols Nature Preserve, a stunning 94-acre expanse of meadows, forests, ponds, and trails that is open to the public for a variety of outdoor activities, from walking and horseback riding to bird watching and cross-country skiing.
